For those who would like to know a little bit more about Heidi, she left the corporate world in 2005, after 19 years working in finance, to embrace a hands-on profession helping others.  While she completed training at the highly-regarded Wellness and Massage Training Institute in Woodridge, IL, she worked as a senior caregiver and discovered how much she enjoys working with seniors.  She decided that, in addition to providing therapeutic, relaxation massage for the general public, she would pursue additional training so that she could safely and effectively provide massage for seniors.

Heidi has always enjoyed laughing -- just for the sake of laughing -- so she was THRILLED when she learned about the concept of Laughter Yoga.  It fits in perfectly with her mission of helping people - including herself - toward wellness!

Heidi is excited to add the MyoKinesthetic System of treatments to her toolbag!  She is trained in Upper Body issues, since so many clients have neck/shoulder/upper body issues. 

Heidi's newest modality, added in Spring 2011, is Ashiatsu Oriental Bar Therapy.  Those clients who have tried it have loved it!  Some of the phrases clients have used to describe a session:  "a different kind of relaxation" ... "it's deep, but it doesn't hurt" ... "didn't know I could feel this R E L A X E D!"
