Heidi had the honor of sharing a Laughter Yoga session with Dr. Madan Kataria, who came up with the concept of Laughter Yoga and has inspired millions in his mission to spread laughter throughout the world. While nothing compares to actually experiencing a session, here are some pictures that were taken at the event.

Dr. Kataria warmly welcomed Heidi into the group, which was sharing a session with the Park Ridge Hysterical Society (yes, you did read that right!) on April 14, 2010.

Everybody was moving around, as we did various laughter exercises.

During the laughter meditation, infectious
laughter - for no reason! - spread throughout the room.

Dr. Kataria led the group in some breathing exercises

to ground us as we finished the session.

Nothing compares to the way Heidi feels after an invigorating Laughter Yoga session!

Incorporate a Laughter Yoga session into your next social gathering -- birthday party, bridal shower, bachelorette party, cookout, celebration, you-name-it! Laughter Yoga is a great ice-breaker, and an incredibly fun way to bring a group closer together.

A Laughter Yoga session can be a fun-filled opening activity, or an after lunch or mid-conference energizer, which helps co-workers bond together, celebrate each other, and build a firm foundation for working together.
